Kitten-Kit. THE IDEA
We are a small group of women representing, conceiving, manufacturing and importing innovative products other women want, enjoy, need or find useful. We sell our products directly to you, or to others who would like to buy them for you as great gifts.
As innovators we love good and great ideas. We come up with our own ideas and turn them into tangible products, offering personal and practical solutions to everyday problems!;
The Handbag Hanger and Kitten-Pole are great examples of our own ideas that are now on shelves or online for you to enjoy. Good ideas are never exclusive to individuals or business and so we constantly search the market for new products which we think you’ll find useful for example, Designer Glamorous Bra Straps and Vibration Trainers. 95% of our products are included in the Kitten-Kit range simply because they are good or great ideas and would make great gifts and because they are innovative they are appreciated. We work hard at Kitten-Kit to source suppliers that allow us to sell on products that do what they say on the box and at a price that ‘every woman’ can afford!
Winning the Barclays Handbag.com 2004 awards for Innovation and the overall award for business planning certainly helped to launch the business and in 2005 we were named as one of the top 10 female innovators in the country! In 2008 we saw our product, the Handbag Hanger short-listed for Gift of the Year – confirming we still had what it takes to innovate and source products and gifts for women! Meet the team:
Kitten-Kit is owned by Eve and myself and managed by 5 of us. We come from different work backgrounds and have different skill sets, which means between us we pretty much have everything covered.
Penny
Comes from a health and fitness background and has also worked in sales. She makes sure that trade customers who want a stock our products can do just that.
Eve
Has a product development and project management background and will be making sure all our new products get to market as soon as they can.
Lisa
Our PR and Marketing guru, seen us in the national press, magazines, or heard me on Radio? – yep, Lisa made me do it!
Freddie
Is born to customer service, she's just so nice!
